This weekend enthusiastic climate change fighters from Kenya, Norway and Malawi gathered for a concert at CIVO stadium in Lilongwe. As a part of their journey from Nairobi to Durban they organized a free concert for Malawians to gain knowledge about environment and increase attention towards the changing climate we live in.
Various artists such as Juliani from Kenya and Ten Sing from Norway made sure the atmosphere was great. Volunteers from Changemaker Norway were present all over the stadium to collect signatures for their petition which they will hand over to COP17 once they reach Durban. Many Malawians present were willing to sign. Thus, the youth were therefore satisfied with their concert. They are currently on their way to Lusaka, Zambia to gain Zambian signatures for the same goal: a legally binding agreement for climate justice.
